How REALTORS® can approach safety smartly

A 2017 survey found that nearly half of female REALTORS® and a quarter of male REALTORS® have experienced a situation that made them fear for their personal safety.

Here are a few tips for staying safe:

• Utilize apps like Find My iPhone or Life 360 to share your location with a friend or family member.

• Ask the client to drive separately if you’ve never met.

• Always keep yourself between the door and the client to ensure you are never trapped in a home with someone you don’t know.
