The Association of Oklahoma General Contractors urges travelers to prioritize road safety during the summer, emphasizing the dangers in construction zones. Executive Director Bobby Stem stated, “Respect the Cone Zone,” at a recent press conference. He advised drivers to reduce speed and focus on the road.
The TRIP report also shows a 15% increase in traffic fatalities due to non-compliance with safety measures like seatbelt usage. Stem urged travelers to ensure a safe summer by driving responsibly.
