AARP has chosen seven organizations in Oklahoma to receive its 2024 Community Challenge grants. These grants provide funding for projects that help improve public places, transportation, housing and digital connections, as well as other areas. In particular, these projects focus on supporting the needs of adults ages 50 and older.
These are the seven organizations:
• Comanche Nation Elder Council (Lawton)
• Food On the Move (Tulsa)
• Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa
• Town of Cole
• Yukon 66 Main Street Association
•Native American Fellowship, Inc.
• Town of Davenport
