Our state qualifies for federal funding for broadband service, but the new Oklahoma Broadband Office could use our help in determining the amount.
It is asking Oklahomans to check their internet address on an internet availability map to see if the information is accurate. If it is not, you can click on the Availability Challenge link. Any church, business, school, library or other place with internet service can also check the accuracy of the map’s information.
The Broadband Office believes some of the information, particularly for rural areas, is inaccurate and could affect the amount of grant money Oklahoma receives.
