Commander John B. Herrington, a Chickasaw Nation citizen and the first Native American to fly in space, will provide the keynote address at The Oklahoma Aerospace Forum on Wednesday, Nov. 8.
As a naval aviator and test pilot, Herrington has over 5,000 flight hours in more than 30 different types of airplanes. Following his naval career, Herrington completed a 4,200-mile bike ride across America to promote Native American interest in STEM.
The Oklahoma Aerospace Forum is an opportunity for industry professionals to engage in discussions about Oklahoma’s aerospace landscape and emerging technologies with opportunities for networking.
