This holiday season, Tulsans can enjoy a fresh take on a timeless Christmas symbol.
From Dec. 7 through Dec. 16, Heart of the Shepherd is hosting a living nativity scene at Shepherd’s Cross in Claremore. The indoor, heated walk-through features farm animals and costumed characters. The nativity scene is open to family pictures.
This year, the living nativity also features musicians and dramatic stories each hour. Spinning, weaving and wool working demonstrations are available. Visitors can purchase crafts and gifts from more than 50 Oklahoma-based artists. The event is free, but there is a suggested donation of $5.
