First Americans Museum (FAM) is hosting First Thunder Fest, a free, family-friendly event that will explore the nexus of First American knowledge and environmental sciences through stories and song, hands-on activities and demonstrations.
First Thunder Fest is scheduled for Saturday, March 5, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees will gain a new appreciation for Oklahoma’s unpredictable spring weather. Numerous events are scheduled throughout the day, including stories from cultural ambassadors, science demonstrations from Science Museum Oklahoma and science storytime with the Metropolitan Library.
