The OKC Beautiful is a nonprofit organization dedicated to environmental beautification, and this year, they are turning litter into art.
Gabriel Friedman, a sculptural and 3D artist, will be creating a sculpture made of trash, which will then be placed on display in Scissortail Park. The sculpture will be constructed from trash collected by volunteers during litter clean-ups in Oklahoma City.
Designed to bring awareness about the harms of wasteful and single-use materials, the sculpture is a creative way to cut down littering in Oklahoma.
