The U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration is awarding the Delaware Nation Economic Development Authority a $2.6 million grant to renovate the Greentech Center in Anadarko, Oklahoma.

The funds will support tribal development by expanding operations and bringing new jobs to the region. The grant is funded by the American Rescue Plan’s Indigenous Communities program and is expected to bring 227 jobs and generate $881,000 in private investment.

Secretary of Commerce Gina M. Raimondo states, “President Biden is committed to ensuring tribal communities are provided with the resources they need to diversify and grow their economies.”
