Oklahoma has always been considered a “fly-over” state, but times have changed and it’s now turned into a “fly-to” state. With the rapid expansion of Oklahoma City and Tulsa becoming a top place to work in the country, it’s no wonder that Oklahoma is now on the travel radar.
American Airlines recently announced that they’ll be scheduling nonstop flights from OKC to New York City, something that has not happened before. Although that may sound like a small accomplishment, it shows how Oklahoma is now putting itself on the map as a nationally ranked state to live and travel to.
