State ranks No. 3 in daycare quality

by The 100 Companies

Good news for working moms: Oklahoma tied for the third best state in quality of daycare facilities. The 2023 Best and Worst States for Working Moms study by John Kiernan was presented by Dr. Laura Ahlstrom of the Oklahoma State University Spears School of Business at the summit hosted by the Oklahoma Commission on the Status of Women.

Entitled “Navigating the Childcare Crisis: A Barrier to Women’s Economic Opportunity,” the summit explored solutions for access to affordable childcare services, such as increasing licensed facilities in childcare deserts and offering tax credits to employers to cover partial childcare costs for employees.
