This week I picked up the phone and called people. Not text, not email but real calls that led to real conversations.
It was productive connecting with everyone to pitch clients and learn about upcoming stories or spitball topics that could be a fit. Many remarked, “Gosh, it’s so good to hear your voice,” or “Look at you going old school.”
What I loved most were the personal anecdotes, sharing news not on social media, banter about life and their excitement, like mine, to chat. It was the best feeling. Every call had a sense of energy, inspiration and connection!
