Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma receives $830,000 grant for veteran program

Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma strives to house 100 veterans experiencing homelessness in 30 days with the announcement of an $830,000 grant as part of the COVID-19 CARES funding.

The Supportive Services for Veteran Families Program (SSVF) exists to provide temporary supportive services to veterans experiencing homelessness. These services include rent and utilities, penalties and fees, deposits, moving costs, transportation, childcare and more to maintain long-term housing stability.

Services are available at no cost to veterans and their families in Canadian, Logan, Seminole, Lincoln, Pottawatomie, Cleveland and Oklahoma counties. For more information and a list of services, visit the website.
