Hurricane Ventures, a venture capital initiative that’s supported by the University of Tulsa, is helping entrepreneurs connected with the university.

“We are excited by the continued momentum of Hurricane Ventures,” shared Director of TU’s Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship Chris Wright, according to The Journal Record.

The team at Hurricane Ventures is made up of entrepreneurs, investors, attorneys, operators, researchers, designers, technologists and executives with the goal of supporting early-stage technologies and creating economic impact. Though only started earlier this year, Hurricane Ventures has already raised $2 million and aims to reach $10 million.
