Vote early, vote no on SQ

We have a special election coming up March 7 with only one issue on the ballot: State Question 820 (SQ 820), which legalizes recreational marijuana use, possession, harvest, transportation and distribution for individuals 21 years old and older.

I urge you to vote no.

Everywhere I drive, anywhere across the state, I see medical marijuana dispensaries on every block. Oklahoma has more than 2,300 dispensaries, more than any other state that allows medical marijuana, despite being one of the least populated. The 8,000 growers have overrun our state’s agricultural lands. Why do we need more?
