Reckless Abandonment Pictures is the local production company behind a new film titled “What Rhymes With Reason.” The fictional story shows a recent high school graduate venturing into adulthood and navigating a new season of challenges.
Behind the new coming-of-age picture, creators have taken great strides to incorporate Oklahoma through in-state filming, production and partnerships. Director Kyle Roberts found it important to partner with Oklahoma’s 988 Mental Health Lifeline as a way to promote the new resource in the state.
This collaboration allows a fictional movie to influence real-life mental health resources and avenues for individuals to ask for help.
