Oklahoma City Tree Lighting Festival is back in person again

by The 100 Companies

It’s time to light up the Bricktown Christmas tree. The 25-foot tree will officially be lit at the 21st Annual Oklahoma City Tree Lighting Festival on Thursday, Nov. 17 from 5-7 p.m. on the Mickey Mantle Plaza of the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

It’s the first time the tree lighting has been live after two years of cancellations. Organizers are expecting around 2,500 people to attend the free family-friendly event, which will feature photos with Santa, face painting, caricatures, a magic elf and postcard decorating.

Live performances include the OKC Ballet and the cast from Lyric Theatre’s “A Christmas Carol.”
