by The 100 Companies

First Americans Museum is hosting a free Indigenous Peoples’ Day celebration on Monday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This family-friendly event highlights the diverse cultures, histories and contributions of the 39 Tribal Nations in Oklahoma. Attendees can enjoy musical performances, social dances and a stickball tournament. In addition, non-partisan advocacy booths and a panel discussion will inform guests about current issues in Indian Country.

Discounted gallery tickets will be available for $5. Visitors may purchase Native-made items from the FAMstore and Thirty Nine Restaurant will offer Indigenous-inspired cuisine. Food trucks will provide additional outdoor dining options.
