Governor Kevin Stitt and the Governor’s International Team met with diplomats from eight countries to discuss economic trade opportunities in Oklahoma.
Representatives from Canada, Germany, India, Israel, Japan, Mexico, South Korea and Uruguay met with state officials in agriculture, career tech, commerce, higher education, science and technology industries.
Recently, Gov. Stitt announced plans to open a Mexican consulate in Oklahoma to strengthen economic and trade ties. The international delegation visited both Oklahoma City and Tulsa, where the World Trade Conference was held.
The official visit was sponsored by the Oklahoma Business Roundtable and the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber.
