The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month marked “the war to end all wars” in 1918. This was the end of World War I. President Wilson called it Armistice Day, now more commonly known as Veterans Day. Since then, it has become a day to recognize and honor our veterans for their willingness to serve this country.
There is no stronger show of patriotism and love of this country than to defend the very freedoms we sometimes take for granted and shouldn’t.
To all our veterans, we thank you for every sacrifice you have made for us.
