Oklahoma’s infrastructure improving

A recent TRIP report found that Oklahoma’s infrastructure has improved, but still has miles to go.

“Oklahomans should be concerned that we continue to see more accidents and fatalities occur as commercial and local traffic increases,” AOGC Executive Director Bobby Stem said.

Stem continued, “The funding for projects needs to be maintained to ensure drivers reach their destination safely.”

The Association of Oklahoma General Contractors urges our state leaders and the incoming legislature to not defund the rehabilitation of the state’s road and bridges, but rather consider an increase in funding, to further develop and improve Oklahoma’s roads and bridges.
