Engineering graduates soar: The legacy of Dolese’s $210M investment

by The 100 Companies

Dolese Bros. Co., Oklahoma’s largest construction material supplier, celebrated a decade of collaboration with three universities: Kansas State University, Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma.

In 2010, Dolese donated all its non-voting stock – valued at around $70 million each – to the universities’ foundations to increase the number of engineering graduates. Since then, the universities have utilized the funds to enhance student recruitment, retention and support programs, resulting in significant growth in engineering degrees awarded.

Students shared how the gift from Dolese is having a positive impact on engineering education at these institutions. Read more about this initiative here.
