An Oklahoma native is making big waves in her new role with the U.S. Navy at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Macy Hinds serves as a Navy public affairs officer within the U.S. Pacific Fleet area of operations.
A University of Oklahoma graduate, Hinds is now responsible for educating the public on the Naval Health Clinic Hawaii’s mission and efforts. In her former position with the U.S. Air Force, Hinds was named civilian of the quarter for assisting in media coverage, social media and civic engagement and for developing an app for an Air Force training base.
