The new and improved Civic Center Music Hall has now reopened. The 2 1/2- year-long renovations improve the patron experience for the guests at the performing arts center, which opened in 1937 as the Municipal Auditorium.
The project was funded by Better Streets, Safer City, which contributed $14.1 million, and a contribution in excess of $1 million by the Civic Center Foundation.
The renovation includes a new addition, new restrooms, balcony seating, a new balcony lobby, patron services desk and a VIP lounge. The box office was relocated to the primary entrance making it easier for patrons to buy tickets.
