Oklahoma has a lot to be proud of – one being the University of Oklahoma’s Head Men’s Gymnastics Coach, Mark Williams, who has been selected as head coach of the US Olympic Men’s Gymnastics team.
Now making his fifth appearance at the Olympics, Mark Williams was previously an assistant in 1996 and on staff in 2004, 2008 and 2012 as a personal coach.
Mark isn’t the only one with Oklahoma ties on the US squad. Former Sooners Chris Brooks, Jake Dalton and Alex Naddour make up the team competing for gold during the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio starting August 5.
