The Oklahoma City Thunder and league MVP Russell Westbrook are finally back.
The NBA’s best player from a year ago will lead a new-look Thunder squad with its eyes set on the NBA Finals. In the offseason, Thunder management traded for perennial All-Stars Paul George and Carmelo Anthony, from the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks, respectively. Alongside Westbrook, the trio comprise the core of one of the most talented teams in the Association. The Thunder open their season Oct. 19, at home, against the Knicks.
