His personal finance website uses keyword research to drive organic search traffic as an essential part of the company’s strategy.
It can even guide editorial decisions. For example, when “best leggings” was a trending search, The Penny Hoarder wrote a story about leggings and used the best-performing keywords to drive traffic. It’s been a top search result.
