For each item on display at the Oklahoma History Center, hundreds more are in storage with every piece acting as a portal to the history of a notable person or a big story.
The Curators’ Corner, a new space in a small nook on the third floor of the Oklahoma History Center, is being used to reserve space for new arrivals or old stories that catch a historian’s eye.
Museum curators specifically choose the artifacts based on the unique and compelling stories they tell. The artifacts in Curators’ Corner will rotate approximately every six months in the Noble Foundation Gallery.
