On June 1, 2016, Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett will assume the presidency of the United States Conference of Mayors, the official non-partisan organization of city chief elected officials.
Mayor Cornett believes this will be a great opportunity for OKC to serve as a leader among some of the most successful cities around the country.
Cornett shared that people across the country are impressed with OKC’s recent development models. “Our model, our city is now of those that people admire to emulate and Oklahoma City and the people who live here should be very proud of that,” said Cornett.
