OKC Drivers Enjoy Traditional Holiday Dolese Truck on I-40

Of course it wouldn’t be Christmas without the Dolese Bros. Christmas Mixer Truck on I-40. What started as a fun display 18 years ago, has turned into an Oklahoma holiday fixture.

Sitting atop a rotating platform just west of downtown OKC, the truck twinkles with more than 68,000 LED lights.

When the display started, it had 28-30,000 incandescent lights. However, Dolese started using LED lights to conserve energy and allow more lights to be used each year.

Located on the north side of I-40, east MacArthur Blvd., drive by and marvel today through Jan. 1.
