Armstrong Auditorium hosts renowned saxophonist

Grammy, Tony Award-winning jazz musician to perform Feb. 10 in Edmond

Legendary NEA Jazz Master, Grammy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Branford Marsalis makes his long-awaited return to Edmond’s Armstrong Auditorium on Thursday, Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m., along with the other members of his jazz quartet.

The son of late jazz great Ellis Marsalis, Branford Marsalis is among the most influential and revered figures in contemporary music. The three-time Grammy winner recently composed the soundtrack for the Netflix jazz age film Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.
