The list’s curators describe Oklahoma City’s film industry and dining scene as two of its big draws, along with cultural attractions. The city’s rapid growth and investment in the economy and community were also emphasized. The writers highlight OKC’s “shimmering highrises and meandering manmade waterway of the Bricktown Canal” and the “upscale retail of Nichols Hills and the myriad galleries in the Paseo Arts District.”
