If you’ve ever been felt the searing pain of a jellyfish sting, you may not imagine wanting to get close to another one, let alone voluntarily touch one in a tank.
The new Hardesty Moon Jellyfish Touch Pool at the Oklahoma Aquarium in Jenks may change your mind. This particular species of the marine animal notoriously unpopular at the beach, the moon jellyfish, can still sting you. But its stings are too small to hurt humans.
The jellyfish were grown in Oklahoma and will now make the acquaintance of visitors to the aquarium, which is known for its hands-on experiences.
