Pajama-clad staff greet you when entering Tulsa’s newest attraction, Bowl-n-Spoon Cereal Bar. Featuring 30 kinds of cereal and 20 toppings, the all-day breakfast establishment caters to Millennials.
However, cereal has been around awhile as an American breakfast staple. The first cold cereal, Granula, was invented in the US in 1863, but wasn’t popular because it had to be soaked overnight to be edible. In 1898, John and William Kellogg created the recipe for Kellogg’s Corn Flakes. Since then, cereal has been the breakfast king.
Opened July 5, Bowl-n- Spoon also offers paninis, coffee and desserts.
