Starting April 30, 2020, the Department of Public Safety (DPS) will issue REAL ID in select tag agencies in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, ahead of the Oct. 1, 2020 deadline.
Oklahomans are not required to get a REAL ID, but this form of identification will be required to fly domestically and access federal facilities after the deadline. A passport is also acceptable. Oklahomans will need to provide proof of identity, Social Security Number and address in order to obtain REAL ID.
