The home stretch of the NBA’s regular season is upon us, and the performance of the Oklahoma City Thunder is one of the season’s biggest surprises. Eight Western Conference teams will advance to the playoffs, and OKC is sitting comfortably in playoff position.
The all-important trade deadline passed last week with the Thunder roster unchanged. It illustrates that whatever long-term goals General Manager Sam Presti has in mind, the offers received didn’t supersede the commitment to the current season.
The roster is deep. The players and fans seem committed. Playoff games will be returning to the ‘Peake in late April.
