The Red Planet – Mars – has captivated imaginations for centuries. Thanks to Boeing Oklahoma City, local students are exploring it while also learning hands-on science and math principles.
More than 200 students statewide visited Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics to work with Boeing engineers and local volunteers to design a Mars expedition, including a landing craft and rover, using science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) skills. Boeing engineers mentored the students and provided assistance as they collectively imagined what the future of spaceflight might hold.
Oklahoma students are using science and creativity together to unlock the achievements of tomorrow.
