There’s a certain level of nervousness and excitement that comes with the first day of school not only for students but parents, too.
Early Birds, a free Smart Start Central Oklahoma program, helps prepare students and parents for the classroom. The nonprofit specializes in school readiness for central Oklahoma’s kids, which helps children become better learners and classmates before entering a classroom.
The 90-minute classes are offered three times a year in Spanish and English and taught by trained instructors covering topics for students up to five years old. Free childcare is available. To learn more, visit smartstartcentraloklahoma.com.
