Graduation is around the corner for many college students. If you’re on the hunt for your first job, here’s how to get started:
Network. Use the contacts you’ve made in college – teachers, friends, professional connections – to open doors. It’s never too early or late to begin networking.
Research. Look for companies that need your skill set. Think outside the box. Studies have found that just 27 percent of college grads had a job that was closely related to their major.
Apply. Send your resume everywhere. The worst that can happen is being told no and, hey, someone might say yes!
