Oklahoma’s first and only street paper, The Curbside Chronicle, is sold by low-income or homeless individuals as a source of income. Calvin, a local vendor in Downtown OKC, believes the publication helped him become the person he’s always wanted to be, along with providing him clothing and housing.
With a contagious smile, Calvin shared that his favorite part of The Curbside Chronicle is meeting new friends every day and his dream job is to be a cook.
The Curbside Chronicle is dedicated to ending panhandling in Oklahoma City and strives to provide a positive alternative for those in need.
