If you saw Olay’s Super Bowl ad, “Make Space for Women,” you should know that fellow Oklahoman and NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine is leading the way for the first woman to land on the moon by 2024.
When the Artemis mission lands the first woman and the next man on the moon, the astronauts will explore more of the lunar surface than ever and establish sustainable exploration by 2028.
The mission was named after the goddess Artemis from Greek mythology, who is both the twin sister of Apollo and goddess of the moon. After that, the next giant leap is to Mars.
