Historic Tours feature city treasures

by The 100 Companies

Have you wondered about architectural treasures in downtown Oklahoma City from the early 1900s? They may be embedded in a castle built by Czechoslovakian Bill Blecha in Council Grove, a 3.5-square mile area in the west part of the city that was Unassigned Land during the Land Run.

Now Castle Falls Restaurant and Venue, discover early century stories and treasures from Capitol Hill High School, Wheeler Park, Colcord Hotel and more. The WesTen District hosts a Council Grove/Castle Falls Historically Local Tour on the third Saturday each month from noon-1 p.m. There’s no charge, but registration is requested here.
