FireLake Fireflight Balloon Fest two-day event

On Aug. 10-11, visitors from across the region will flock to Shawnee to see the beautiful balloons take flight.

For those that prefer staying grounded, live entertainment, food trucks, vendors and events will be happening every hour of the event.

These include:

• Carnival, kids’ zone and petting zoo

• Vendor market

• Music from Shiloh Steel, Heath Wright and The Hangmen, Super Freak, Amanda Coffee, The White Lighters, Vince Van and Zodiac

• Balloon glows

• 5K

• Multiple kite performances

• Doggie Spot and Planet Fitness on the Community Stage

• Native dance performance

Along with tethered rides, commercial rides (must be booked in advance).
