Oak Tree to host PGA in 2027

by The 100 Companies

Oak Tree National in Edmond will host the U.S. Senior Open Championship in 2027.

Oak Tree previously hosted this event in 2014. The club also hosted the PGA Championship in 1988 and the U.S. Amateur event in 1984. The exact dates have not been announced but will fall somewhere between the third weekend in June and July 4.

The course, designed by Pete Dye and opened in 1976, is known for being extremely difficult due to its water features and large number of trees. The club is named for an oak tree on its fifth hole. It completed a greens restoration in 2022.
