The Oklahoma Commission on the Status of Women recently held a Community Conversation at the Resonance Center for Women. For 45 years, Resonance has helped women succeed who were impacted by substance abuse or the criminal justice system.
The Commission toured the new Resonance Home, a transitional living facility that helps women get their lives back on track with a safe home and securing a full-time salaried job, not a minimum-wage job, and with benefits, such as insurance.
Success of Resonance’s programs has resulted in 97% of women staying out of prison and 82% becoming employed after release from prison.
