Women’s Commission elects Gloria Torres

Hooray! The Oklahoma Commission on the Status of Women, a state commission that informs the legislature and executive branches on issues impacting the improvement of opportunities and quality of life for Oklahoma women, has elected new officers for the 2020-21 year. Gloria Torres was elected as Commission Chair.

A native Oklahoman, Torres serves as Executive Director of Calle Dos Cinco in Historic Capitol Hill Business District. Throughout her career, she has committed to providing opportunities for Oklahoma women through education, which led her to serve as Vice-Chair of the Oklahoma City Public Schools Board of Education, representing District 6.

Congratulations Gloria!
