Oklahoma’s aerospace professionals will have the opportunity to hear from former Air Force officer, test pilot and NASA astronaut Gen. Thomas P. Stafford as he reflects on the 50th anniversary of Apollo 10 at the Oklahoma Aerospace Forum on Wednesday, Oct. 30. The event takes place at Oklahoma City’s Cox Convention Center.
Recently honored with the Lifetime Space Achievement Award, Stafford was part of the second crewed mission to orbit the moon and the first to fly a lunar module in lunar orbit, descending to an altitude of nine miles in 1969.
