Oklahoma City’s First Christian Church is an architecturally significant building known for its organic form, sculpted shape and extensive use of concrete and masonry.
The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and Preservation Oklahoma’s 2019 Most Endangered Places list, not just for its architectural styles but also for the role it played in the community after the Oklahoma City Murrah bombing.
Recently, Crossings Community Church announced plans to purchase the building to use as a satellite location, in the hopes of saving it from demolition.
