This weekend, July 22-23, is the grand opening of the Stanford Family Liberty Garden and Bumgarner Family Foundation Lotus Pool at the Tulsa Botanic Garden.
The Stanford Family Liberty Garden is a ceremonial space in the center of Tulsa Botanic Garden and will include a large lawn with flower borders, evergreens, walkways, benches, shrubs and trees.
The Bumgarner Lotus Pool will have three overlooks so visitors can have up-close views of white lilies, lotuses and floating fauna. Plant beds will extend into the pool to create floating gardens.
Bring a donation for the food drive and admission is half price.
