June 19 marks the anniversary of the end of slavery and is now a holiday celebrated as Juneteenth. Make it a three-day celebration by heading to the Tulsa Juneteenth Festival, which runs June 15-17.
Run (or walk) along several of Tulsa’s historic streets in the new 5k and Fun Run, learn tips for investing and home ownership at the Building Wealth event. and put your entrepreneurial skills to the test at the Black Wall Street Pitch Competition.
Other events include a kickoff party, art exhibit, wellness experiences, live musical performances, a Kids Zone and a Black Wall Street Homecoming Gala.
